According to the NC Secretary of State, in 2019, Tarheels created 100,300 new entities. In 2020, it was 126,600. They forecast 184,000 in 2021!

Forming an entity provides limited liability to the business owners, and often provides tax savings as well.

It is not too late to form your entity for this year, if you are willing to pay an expediting fee.
