As we gather around tables this Thanksgiving week, I find myself reflecting on what I'm most grateful for in my practice—and it starts and ends with people.

To My Clients: Thank You for Your Trust
Running a business takes courage. Whether you're launching your first venture, growing an established company, or navigating unexpected challenges, you're doing something remarkable. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey. Your mom-and-pop shops, family businesses, and entrepreneurial dreams aren't just files on my desk—they're the heartbeat of our community and the reason I do this work.
Every late-night call about a contract concern, every excited conversation about expansion plans, every moment you've allowed me into your business challenges—these are privileges I don't take for granted. Watching your businesses grow and succeed is the greatest professional reward I could ask for.
To My Referral Partners: Thank You for Your Confidence
To the accountants, financial advisors, bankers, real estate professionals, and fellow attorneys who refer clients my way—your confidence in my work means everything. When you recommend me to your clients, you're putting your own reputation on the line. I understand that responsibility and work every day to honor the trust you've placed in me.
These referral relationships have become true partnerships. We're all working toward the same goal: helping business owners succeed. Your collaboration makes me better at what I do, and I'm grateful for every introduction, every brainstorming session, and every team effort to solve a client's complex needs.
The Freedom of Small Business Ownership
There's something special about being a small business owner myself. I understand the vulnerability of being on your own, the pride of seeing your name on the door, and the weight of responsibility that comes with every decision. I know what it's like to build something from the ground up and to worry about making payroll, maintaining quality, and serving clients well.
We're in the trenches together. The freedom to shape my practice, choose who I work with, and practice law in a way that aligns with my values—these freedoms are profound, and they remind me daily why entrepreneurship matters.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
As I look toward 2026, I'm excited about continuing to serve the small business community. Your success stories fuel my passion for this work. I love applying my legal insight to make your business stronger an successful. Your trust motivates me to keep learning and growing.
Thank you for making my practice meaningful. Thank you for building businesses that strengthen our economy and enrich our communities. And thank you for allowing me to play a small part in your success.
From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving.
Wishing you and your businesses continued growth, protection, and prosperity.
