Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is designed for business owners who have a business poised for growth. The company is seeking applicants who are passionate about growing their business and creating jobs in their communities and who generally meet these criteria:

Small business owner or co-owner
Business revenues over $75,000 in the most recent fiscal year
Business in operation for 2+ years
Business with 2+ employees (including the owner)
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is recruiting a dedicated cohort in North Carolina – classes start September 2025 and applications are due June 15th.
Professional workshops are delivered online and in-person. Business owners will learn about access to financial capital, and build a powerful network of professional support. All costs are fully covered by the Goldman Sachs Foundation.

Offered at no cost to each of the 30+ business owners selected to participate
One-on-one business advising and personalized support from experts
The curriculum focuses on practical business skills, including financials, negotiations, marketing, and employee management; each business walks away with a 5-year Growth Plan
A peer network of 16,000+ small business owners from across the country: 85% of our alumni do business with one another, and together represent over $27 Billion in revenue
Within 6 months of graduating, 66% of businesses report increased revenues and 44% add new jobs
